No audition = no course

Dear applicants,

This is a lengthy post but it explains what you need to do to get on a course.

It was great to speak to most of you last Monday and thanks for your questions.
Well done to all of you who have submitted video links to us since then. You have now joined the applicants who passed their face to face auditions earlier in the year and the others who had already sent us video auditions.

If you did not tune in last Monday then here is the video of the presentation.

Some of you are still unsure about how to get onto the course so I’ll break it down here.

To get onto the course you need to pass an audition.

(Irrespective of what the system says about your application, if we have not approved your audition then you will not be studying on the course.)
At the moment those auditions are video links that are sent in by you. [We cannot audition you face to face]
If you have shown the skills required to succeed on the course then we will change your offer from ‘conditional offer’ to ‘conditional offer (learner to accept)’ You will then need to go onto the EBS system and accept the offer.

Here are the audition requirements for each pathway

Level 2 Music: Email us a link to a videoed performance piece on your main instrument.

Level 3 Music: Email us a link to a videoed performance piece on your main instrument, if possible perform an original composition. Singer songwriters should perform one of their songs.
